Do not pay parking fees in advance!

Updated over a week ago

In your previous parking experiences, you may have encountered service providers pre-authorizing the maximum parking fee of a particular zone on your card. We are now setting new standards for parking payments!

If you have a saved credit card

If you have previously registered your credit card in the application, and you initiate the parking payment with the same credit card, no fee will be pre-authorized when you start parking. We only deduct the amount proportional to the parking time from your credit card at the end of parking. You can read more about saving your credit card here.

If you do not have a saved credit card

If you do not have a registered credit card in the application, we will pre-authorize the maximum parking fee of the zone on your credit card when you start parking. However, at the end of parking, you only pay for the actual parking time. Therefore, if we deducted more at the start of parking than your actual parking cost, we will release the remaining amount on your card! The time it takes for this amount to reappear in your balance depends on your bank.

Example: In a given parking zone, the fee is 230 Ft per hour, and the maximum waiting time is 3 hours, so 3 x 230 Ft, which is 690 Ft + x Ft convenience fee, will be pre-authorized on your card. If you then park for only one hour, you only have to pay 230 Ft + x Ft convenience fee, and the remaining amount (460 Ft) will be immediately released on your card. It may happen that the released amount does not appear immediately in your account, which depends on your bank.
