Details and steps for canceling the Assistance service

The Cristo Assistance service is a one-year insurance policy, with the fee being charged in a single installment for both the Hungarian and EU packages. The insurance is valid from the first day of the service until midnight on the same day the following year. After that, it either continues with the payment of a new annual fee or terminates if the renewal payment is not made by the anniversary date.

Canceling Cristo Assistance Before the End of the 1-Year Insurance Period

Canceling Assistance as a Customer

  • The service can be canceled without any explanation within 14 days from the first day of the insurance start date, and the insurance fee for the remaining period will be refunded to the insured by bank transfer within 10 days.

  • It is also possible to cancel the Assistance service due to the loss of interest, such as if your car is totaled, stolen, or sold. In case of a sale, please email us at help@hellocristo.hu or contact us via the Chat within the app, which you can find by clicking on your profile picture and selecting the Customer service menu. Be sure to attach your car's sales contract to the request for terminating the Assistance!

Canceling Assistance by the Insurer

  • If your car reaches 330,000 km in mileage or turns 16 years old during the insurance period, the insurance will automatically terminate.

  • If you delete your profile

    • and had Cristo Assistance insurance as a gift with Cristo Casco, it will end with the termination of the Casco.

    • If you subscribed to the Assistance insurance separately, it will remain in effect until the end of the paid period, even after the Casco terminates.
